Statewide Fiscal Management Training

The Department of Finance is conducting a new training class for fiscal managers to provide an overview of Finance expectations, audits, budgeting, accounting, and statewide reporting.

Who Should Attend

This training is highly encouraged for managers who have full responsibility for departmental accounting or budget functions. The manager of both budget and accounting is also encouraged to attend.

Please note that each department is limited to a maximum of four participants. Participants will be registered in the order received, up to the participation limit.

  • Audits and Evaluations
  • Financial Information System for California
  • Budgets
  • Accounting
  • Reporting

Prerequisite

nowledge of state accounting and budget policies and procedures.
