WELCOME TO DOFCON 2026!
On behalf of the California Department of Finance, thank you for your interest in attending our 10th Annual Policy and Recruitment Conference (DOFCON).
Our policy conference is a unique opportunity for job-seeking participants to interact with Finance leaders and policy experts.
We will discuss our role in California’s government, economy, and demographics; the state's legislative and budget processes; independent audits and evaluations; and current issues in state policy.
We will also host a Q&A panel featuring representatives of our various units to discuss what it is like to work at Finance and discuss career and internship opportunities.
Please join us on Friday, July 17, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM with an optional social mixer from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM after. Both events will be held at the California Natural Resources Agency Auditorium in Sacramento.
